Cuadrilla Resources was delighted to donate £2,000 to the Weeton Village Hall fund on Thursday 15th March.

The money will be used to furnish and decorate the new village hall which the Parish Council hopes will be built in the next couple of years.

After handing over the cheque, Cuadrilla’s Chief Executive Mark Miller said:

“The plans for the new village hall look great and I am really pleased that Cuadrilla can help make them a reality for the local community.

“We talk about how our work can benefit the communities we are a part of, and this donation is evidence of that. While we are only exploring at this stage, we are still able to make important local contributions.”

Mark Miller handed the cheque for £2,000 over to Fylde Borough councillor John Singleton and Weeton parish councillor Janet Graham at the existing village hall.
